What is the symptom load map?
It is a graphical representation of the severity of symptoms reported by users of the Patients Hay-fever Diary (PHD), collected in real-time. The map gives an insight into the reported symptom severity, for example, at home or a holiday destination.
Where does the data come from?
It comes directly from pollen allergy sufferers who use the PHD. The data is anonymised and encrypted, making it impossible to connect data sets to single individuals.
What does symptom load map show?
The colours show the severity of the symptoms. The numbers show the number of PHD users who have recorded their symptoms in the that region.
