Who are these pages aimed at?

Interested parties, experts and scientists can find out about pollen data and its benefits here.

The EAN pages are divided into publicly accessible pages for information and internal pages for using the database. On the public pages, interested parties can find information on the services and benefits of the database. Registered users can log directly into the database with their access data to import, view, analyze or download data and are kept up to date on news about the database and evaluation methods. Users of the database include employees of universities, government organizations, foundations and private individuals.

EAN members have the opportunity to view data from other measuring stations and thus follow the development of the pollen season in other regions. This access is essential for research, model calibration and pollen forecasting. In addition, EAN offers the possibility of a free backup of the data sets. The data-use policy, trust in other members and administration form the basis for every user of EAN data.

The database itself is primarily used for data exchange between scientists. Therefore, the contents are only accessible to registered users with a valid password. As part of a downstream service, some data is also made available to other organizations for the creation of distribution and forecasting models.

The stored data is the property of the individual data providers and is therefore only released for use by them within the framework of contractual agreements (see also "Data Use Policy"). Inquiries about trap operators or their data can be made via the interactive map or by e-mail via the Austrian Pollen Information Service Association(infohub(at)polleninformation.at).
